Contractor's Errors & Omissions - Do I need It?

In this video, I’m going to discuss a specialty form of insurance known as Contractors Errors & Omissions Insurance or Contractor's E&O - looking specifically at Plumbing Contractors and associated trades.

Contractor's Errors & Omissions insurance for plumbers will cover claims which arise from faulty designs, faulty workmanship, and defective products or materials. Initially, these claims may begin as a customer complaint about some dissatisfaction which can escalate into a legal dispute.

These disputes and resulting lawsuits are NOT covered by a plumbing contractor's General Liability Policy. In fact, many of the elements of these claims are specifically excluded on the GL policy. This is why Contractor's Errors & Omissions insurance is needed.
