If it was to use 5 cm patch cords that make it impossible to maneuver ports, it would be easier to not have anything and connect the cable directly to the switch. I see a huge waste of money being thrown in the trash just to make it aesthetically to the taste of whoever assembled it !!!

far too neat. Use 5 metre cables and just tuck them round the back of the comms cabinet. job done.

which patch panels and keystones do you use? I'm finding that several brands I looked at aren't readily available over here in the UK, or are just silly prices due to being imported. Any recommendations from you guys? Mostly Cat6A & Cat6 with some older Cat5e cables in the building.
