SMPS Output voltage Fluctuation / Switch Mode Power Supply Output Not Regulated. smps output fluctuation term is used when the output voltage of switch mode power supply are not being regulated properly. irregulated amplitude of the output in any smps is called fluctuation
it may be due to many reasons
1. main dc capacitor is internally open circuit
2. vcc capacitor of smps ic is open internally
3. vcc circuit / bias circuit / auxiliary circuit is open circuit
4. output circuit have some short circuit capacitor
5. feedback circuit is not working properly, it may be due to reference circuit, TL431 reference, or optocoupler or its related components

Great video! I love that you have so many SMPS and inverter videos. This is very practical in today's world to learn how to repair electronics as components become increasingly difficult to find. Your videos help e-waste from going to landfills! One of my favorite things to do since I was a child is to re-purpose and repair junk. My father would take me to the dump to get more things to fix.
As an idea for a video, could you do one on how to check the resonant frequency of an unknown SMPS transformer? Thanks and have a great weekend sir!

you are alaways clear explanation of smps troubleshooting. we have problem in one pcb ciruit, there is toroidal transformer is used. when we are connecting the transformer secondary side, the hot line of fuse blown. can you explain how to check this type of trnasformer.
