The former classmate of Luigi Mangione, the suspected killer of United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson, spoke to FOX 10 on Dec. 9, five days after the shooting. Corey Wey says he and Mangione went to high school together in Maryland.

Police arrested a suspect Monday in the brazen Manhattan killing of UnitedHealthcare's CEO after a quick-thinking McDonald’s employee in Pennsylvania alerted authorities to a customer who was found with a weapon, mask and writings linking him to the ambush.

The words "healthcare" and "share holders" should not be in the same sentence.

My gf has had back surgery. She has pins and screws in her neck and lower back. From her words, the pain is excruciating and gets worse when the weather is bad. I heard his life was basically done and he couldn't be active anymore like he used to be before his surgery. Living with my gf and seeing her in constant pain and finding out this guy went through similar? Yeah, I'd believe he'd grab a hammer out of frustration and take matters into his own hands - while he could still walk. Not saying it's right, but 190 opioid pills per month later that they hassle you to get is a rough way to live

It is crime for hospitals to charge 8000 usd for an ultrasound. Huge healthcare insurance fraud leads to such obnoxious billing and killing of patients. It is not patient care but patient killers. Hope industry looks inwards and changes for the good. That time is now.

- Erhardt Preitauer (CareSource)
- Kim Keck (BlueCross)
- Lisa Erickson (Medica)
- J David Joyner (CVS)
- Joseph Zubretsky (Molina)
- Andrew Witty (UHG)
- David Cordani (Cigna)

Luigi speaks the truth. Being educated and well read is what the people in power fear. If you have ignorant folks they don't know any better. History will repeat itself.

Throughout history the price for change has always been blood. Sad but necessary.

My loved one was killed by negligent doctors in Towson the same day this happened. It's the worst pain I've felt, greater than losing my 58 year old father in a tragic accident a year ago. I've never felt this level of anger, pain, anguish, despair.. nonstop thinking that someone needs to pay. Somehow this case made me feel less alone in my pain..

Well, apparently my mom knows the Mangione family and went to Loyola with Nick Mangione. Pulled out the yearbooks and all. We've lived in the same area our entire lives.

I am so very sorry, Luigi. I know the pain and torment you must have been going through to do this. Please know you are not alone.

He snapped for a reason and I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry to my loved one who was failed. I will never get over this loss.

Hay here’s a thought…. This man is young and made a big mistake… why not ask the President to pardon him… what kind of statement would that send to our broken health care system that it’s broken….

So wait, some random dude from some random McDonald’s in a place where the guy wasn’t even supposed to be recognized the suspect, but his former classmate didn’t?
