We paid our life and sanity to optimize js on the web as if it's not fast enough already, to the point wasm came out for that. No way this slow thing is going on the browser unless it uses a proper python implementation like pypy and cython

Another reason python might not good for frontend because spaces and indent is really necessary with it. With JS, you can remove many useless spaces, line breaks, tab, … to reduce the transfer size between server and browser.

I don't think people are gonna switch from js to py because there will absolutely be no advantage but disadvantage of slow speed . Meanwhile I love python and that's the first language I learned and love it ❤️

People are complaining, but what I’ve seen over time is: Things come and go, and new features that don’t harm pre-existing features are rarely a bad idea. I think it’s a neat concept and I am curious to see the things that are made with it (plus I’m pretty sure it’s just a JavaScript framework under the hood).
