Ok so I see a lot of people talking critically about her being hesitant with losing 50 lbs in a month. She probably has never lost 10 lbs in a month. She doesn’t understand how possible it is. It’s also clear she feels like crap and is more than likely depressed. I can imagine that it’s overwhelming to start working on fixing yourself when you feel the way she does. I understand how that feels. I deal with chronic illnesses and 3 months ago started working out for the first time in 5 years. It takes a lot to pull yourself up when you’re on empty. I now work out 4x a week. She can do this. I’m glad her friend is coming along on this journey with her.

This Doctor is extremely humble. When he introduced himself he did not say " l am Dr Proctor. "
He humbled himself and said . "Iam Charlie Proctor " not only making her comfortable but to be on her level.
My gynecologist is like that and l am at ease with her.

How the heck she survived 3 pulmonary embolisms is a miracle. And the way she’s labored/noisy breathing just sitting after walking into a room is so heartbreaking. Take care of yourselves!!

I been big most of my life. I got a foot infection and to have my foot and part of my leg amputated. I'm in rehab as we speak and I've already lost 52lbs. Went from 430 to 378lbs. You can do it girl! I'm rooting for you.

One of the first patients on "My 600lb Life, " I think her name was Susan. She wanted to lose weight so badly, so, she really just jumped right in. In those scenes that are shot in-between appointments, this gal was walking, walking and walking! She also followed the Program pretty closely. I think that Dr. Now had given her the goal of losing 50 lbs over the two months. When she went to her next appointment, she had lost almost 160lbs! I just remember how stunned she was! I always think if her when I get discouraged! Dig those heels in and just keep working at it!
