The IWDG can "confirm this group or at least individuals in
this group to belong to the Scottish West Coast Community pod of killer
whales from the Hebrides. We have frequently seen these animals in Irish waters
in recent years

Among the animals we can confirm are
#002 Floppy fin (Bull, with drooped dorsal fin to left)
#003 Nicola (female with large nick near top of trailing edge of dorsal fin)
#006 Lulu (female)
#008 Aquarius (Bull, with tall clean dorsal fin)"

Great footage. Would loved to have seen some underwater shots of them. Maybe next time?

Excellent stuff, may be the same Pod? Good to see them making regular appearances!

I'll never forget the excitement of Dopey Dick in 1977. When in Dongeal I am always looking out to sea hoping to see something like this. Well done, looks like they were heading to The Drift Inn for a great pint of stout.

Interesting fact: Orcas/Killer Whales are actually dolphins, not whales.
