Celeste Ending Cutscene - Chapter 9 Farewell *spoilers*

The ending cutscene to Celeste's final chapter 'Farewell' from the Free DLC update released on 09/09/2019.

i find it interesting how the ending implies the pico-8 celeste involved granny in her younger age as a protagonist, indicated by a different outfit and how she has green hair whenever she gets 2 dashes

it's honestly a nice detail that the devs put in if it was intentional

So i lost my own 'Granny' very recently and just played this game. Im not very good at it but absolutely loved it and the story, so decided to look up the true ending. I was not expecting to have such a violent gut punch. While it is still raw, watching this hurts, bad. But its so good. Its such a perfect ending.

God I love this game. Easily my fourth favorite game of all time and even easier my favorite soundtrack of all time

Madeline has the gay and trans pride flags in the background and I love that small detail.

[edit and side note] So, Maddy Thorson (one of the of Celeste) has confirmed that Madeline is canonically trans and when i saw the article about that, I died of happiness. Sense the development of celeste, Both me and Maddy Thorson have developed and discovered ourselves and this finally sealing this in cannon despite it being obvious has made me overcome with joy.

I'm a bit late but I Always thought this ending could mean a prequel with grandma and Theo's grandpa...
Or maybe it's over and I should say "farewell" to celeste?
