Mike Todd and Transformation Church are incredibly well known within the Evangelical world in America. What isn't known however is where Mike Todd came from and how Transformation Church came to be.

In this one-of-a-kind video, I aim to lay out an understandable timeline for the formation of both Transformation Church and Mike Todd's theology.

This isn't a hit piece, which will disappoint some, but rather a video in which I'm just putting the facts on the table and letting the viewer decide.

I live in Tulsa. His church is 25 min from me. They are currently under scrutiny from the surrounding neighbors for noise pollution. A friend of mine used to attend the parents church and told me that his mother wouldn't let anyone leave church and church couldn't continue until everyone had given a tithe. And if you didn't have it you were to borrow from the person sitting next to you.

The fact he had a youth ministry of 200 kids, and he hadn't studied the bible or had any intention to, is such a red flag. Once the youth ministry got even bigger he then realized this was serious, and that he should start studying. If you have a youth ministry with one kid in it, it's serious, the quantity of our ministry should never determine the level of seriousness we take it.

It’s the people saying “wow” every time Mike said something that actually exposed his lack of qualifications as if he had said something mind-blowing 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

I used to watch Mike Todd every Sunday after my own church service.I even recommended him to a lot of my church folks. I was so pleased that a young man was on fire for the Lord and full of wisdom beyond his years. Sadly I had to stop watching as I felt he was losing the plot - such a shame, a man with so much potential. I pray that he comes back to the Lord, without all the controversy and theatrics!

My problem with the church today is that the mega church, the crowd, the attendance, the production etc... Has become the ultimate sign for many that God is with you, is no longer about salvation, souls saved, the cross... It's all about how God can do big things, give us big buildings, big visions etc... Sad!

It's sickening how much "God told me" is said with such authority.

This is the most impressive breakdown on Mike Todd I've seen so far & I appreciate the objective analysis which many do not do when it comes to such issues on such church leaders. As impressive as the achievements are it really becomes a shame if we gain the whole world and lose our souls, if such church neglects the foundation that is Christ Jesus

Yes, let us pray. I was a member of a church, as well as my family, and the pastor started out one way but changed over time. My family and I did not leave until God said it was time to do so. We were there to get what God wanted us to get. God is so awesome!

I love how despite disagreeing with Mike fundamentally, you still tried to make an unbiased doc and credited him where due. The biggest thing you did was pray for him and his church.

This was an honest, fair and objective breakdown. You allow the viewer to develop an opinion without trying to steer one way or the other. In YouTube there are many channels that are simply cater to outrage and use them to garner views on their own channel. I appreciate objectivity in a world of endless opinions especially in the Christian space. Well done brother we need more channels like yours!

I pray for Mike Todd that he will use his gifts to glorify Jesus Christ and that the Holy Spirit will teach Him and that he will get his inspiration from the Holy Scriptures and through the teaching of the Scriptures point many to Jesus Christ. I do not want his ministry to fail or for the congregation to be scattered but that they will be in alignment with God and His Christ in Jesus’ name.

The same year Eden merged with Transformation, I attended TC for a few months. I was going to play Bass on the praise team but felt the Holy Spirit telling me no. I then started attending another church and became the music leader. Mike offered to buy a lot of local churches as a merger including my church and we turned them down. The next year, he gave our church $15, 000 to help us with needs and I still believe it was a tactic to get us to say yes. I didn't have a say but my pastor did good by not caving. Being a graduate of ORU, I have seen the evolution into the prosperity gospel first hand. A lot of my friends still attend TC and I would say you boil a frog really slowly. They all have bought into the "crazy faith", "name it and claim it faith."

My family joined Higher Dimensions in 1992 when I was 5. Pastor Mike, his siblings, I and my siblings were in children’s church together and our parents prayed and ministered together for years. My family transitioned to Greenwood when I was 10 years old. I began ministering at Greenwood when I was 16 (inviting friends from school, leading them to Christ, teaching messages in the youth etc). By the time Greenwood became Transformation Church in 2012 I was an adult leader at TC/Greenwood on Pastor Mike’s team until I was 26. As one whose known almost everyone in this video very well since I was 5, it’s important that the public knows some of these facts are true and some are completely incorrect. But I am impressed at how much this video creator could piece together maybe solely based on sermons and other video clips. And I Love and highly respect His heart to Glorify God. This piece gets some of the facts right but there’s no way to get the heart of the ministry without having been a part. Greenwood was a ground breaking ministry long before Pastor Michael ever came over but God has used his willingness, leadership and obedience ever since. My time in Tulsa came to an end some years back when I relocated with my company but I pray God continues to be Glorified through that ministry and others as well as through the lives of all His sons and daughters.

I believe one of the most interesting parts of this documentary was hearing Mike Todd’s mom speak in that interview about shifting the atmosphere. It is very obvious that he learned a lot of his mannerisms from her.

You did a great job on the production of this. Your artistic and technical skill showed, but also your pastoral heart. I’ve been very disappointed over the years with what I’ve been hearing from Mike Todd, so I was ready to watch a complete tear-down. But instead you gave graceful color and context while still providing discerning criticality. This is well done on so many levels. This is Kingdom work.

I feel like transformation church and Michael Todd started off with good intentions, but overtime as the fame and money grew, they just slowly became like every other mega church
