Pre facelift still looks modern and better in my opinion. The new front looks so tall, the old one looked much sleeker and cooler.

You didn't mention this but my favorite detail in the new version is the hood coming all the way up front to the end like a clamshell. Makes it look so much cleaner.

I like the looks of the current one more, but the interior of the refreshed one is definitely better.

Yh not a fan of this refresh. The older one looks *much* more handsome. Sentiment in Korea seems to be the same as well.
Kia should've just waited for a full redesign on this one and not mess up a good thing

I'd rather have the current Sorento honestly. It's a very crafty design that I can see being used for another 2-3 years. But this makes it look entirely too much like the Telluride, and I liked the Telluride BECAUSE it had it's own style going on that suits it.

I know the Sorento is bigger, but the new front end looks very much like the new upcoming Cadillac XT4.

I like the new one but I don't think it was needed yet, I too feel like the new Sorento came out like a few months ago lol, I do think they cleaned it up a bit, specially the interior.

Also, there are current design trends I don't like (i.e. bad screen integrations) but some that I really dig, like the air conditioning vents going all the way through the dashboard (also seen in, for example, the new Civic)

What do you mean we have nothing on 2024 yet. That is the 24-26 face lift.

I own the current Sorento PHEV (and that is why I am clicking this video). I do not like the facelift at all. The new headlights and the grill seem incoherent and I feel like Kia is trying to push away the headlights to the sides as much as possible in each new vehicle and make them all vertical looking just like the Cadillac. To me Horizontal headlights can look cool too such as the existing Kia Sorento

I felt like the rear was more in need of a nip/tuck than the front. It's always been a little too 'New Edge' Mustang for me

Been a while since you did a design refresh of an old car. Just read MT article on the Lambo Jalpa. I think you could do a very nice modernization of that underappreciated supercar from the 80s

In case anybody hasn't notice, Korean cars tend to update their cars a lot faster than the rest of the industry. There are both positives and negative to this. The positive is that any unpopular defects can be quickly fixed within a year or two. The negative of course, is that it obsolesces your car very fast. I definitely prefer car makers that update less often since resale value is maintained for much longer. For example, just look at Apple and their Macbook and computer monitors.

Earlier there was speculation that the 2025 would be an upgrade to the current Sorento, but this looks more like a mere update to the current model. They went vertical with the lights and I immediately thought of Cadillac.

The reverse light and turn signal should always be up-to where they can be seen from a distance and without being blocked. BTW, I think those are lap vents.

You missed the lighting element that was added in the interior dash. I’m assuming it’s rgb too.

Shouldve kept the current versions front end and changed the back and interior only. I love the look of the current version. Its best on the sx prestige X line
