I loved almost everything….the parade, egg toss, salmon toss, kids digging for coins…such wholesome activities for the kids to enjoy. I just can’t enjoy seeing the octopus come to his demise because they are such intelligent, marvelous creatures. They each have personalities and are quite remarkable. Your family is so blessed to have that cabin! I have a friend that bought land on the Kenai River in the late 70’s and eventually built a nice cabin there. I was just down there with her a couple weeks ago. Caught no fish though.
