Don’t throw away your “bad” markers! Just add a few drops of Gamsol or mineral spirit ( they’re both the same) and they will be like new!

Copics make me feel like an artist when I use them. I’m so bummed I missed this sale. I called all the Hobby Lobbys in the San Diego area and none of the sales people knew anything about the sale :(

Awhile back, I found oxide ink pads for $1.99 at Hobby Lobby. I asked why the discount and she said the SKU number wasn’t in the system, so they clearanced them.

I'm one of those people who built my collection one marker at a time, one 40% coupon at a time, and I thought I was happy with the markers I had until this sale. I stopped by the 2 Hobby Lobbies in my area, and they were already gone. I was very sad. You're making me jealous. And yet, I'm still watching. 😄
My favorite thing about copics is how you can color in an area and they blend so smoothly. You don't get the stripey lines like you do with crayola markers, for example.

I was able to get 17 Copic markers at Hobby Lobby when they were on clearance sale last month. They were in the locked case and the sales clerk stood just a few feet away from me the entire time that I was searching through them. He made me feel so uncomfortable! I had the same reaction, hot and sweaty and hurried! Even though I had my hex chart in front of me, I still bought one duplicate! The sales clerk said that the lady who was there 2 hours before me had purchased 250 markers! Hobby Lobby doesn't carry 250 colors, so she had to be buying for others or reselling them! He also said that they were discontinuing some of the colors to make room for additional colors. I'm glad you were able to add so many to your collection! 😁💜

When Copic's first arrived (where I was) they were $5.99 and I thought that was SO ridiculous for a marker....fast forward about 7 years and I am in LOVE with them! I really watched a lot of video's and nailed down WHAT I thought I needed, but after coming close to having 3 of each I realized I needed way more. The ease of blending and coloring makes anyone look like a highly talented artist that is why I like them the most. I would LOVE to add to my stash. Thanks for sharing!

I like comic markers because of the flexibility; having a thin tip or a wider tip. I also like that they come in many shade of 1 color for perfect blending to use on flowers, leaves or basically anything else.

Wow! What a great haul. I only hv the 4 that's most popular for skin but love them. The brush nib definitely makes all the difference.
