Only the first few chapters are about nature. The rest is about history of the Jewish people. Its always useful for people to read what they are discussing.

Trying to make scientific statements from the Bible is as bad as trying to make cooking statements: its not a scientific textbook. God gave us science as a tool just like shovels and reason.

That doesn't make the Bible wrong or mistaken. It just means that people misused it.

It also says the stars are both great and less then the sun and the stars it refers to a lesser star with no concept of meteor

So nobody knew science until 1850s? Galileo, Newton, all the ancient greek scientist's, ancient egyptian scientists, nobody knew what planets, stars, comets were until 1900s? Isnt this a bit of arrogant to say? In 300 years people will laugh at our level of today knowledge. We still cant figure out how the Egyptians made the pyramids without large machines or how they did brain surgeries, 3000 years ago 😐

They knew meteors fell from the sky. We translate the word they used as stars. Earth has literally carved a path throuh debris for millennia.

Someone forgot to read Genesis before the interview. 😂 In a time when everyone thought the world was flat, held up so it wouldnt fall, and everything revolving around the earth, Genesis was saying the earth was round, held up in space by nothing and that the earth revolved around the sun. Turns out, the bible had it right before anyone else. It makes sense why some of the greatest scientific breakthroughs came from religious scientists. NDT got this one wrong, big time

In the Bible revelations is describing accounts as seen by a man 2000yrs ago. We didn’t understand Arctic Mirages until recently. That at very cold temperatures you can see land at 100’s of miles away because of the lights reflecting off the atmosphere curving around the earth. To them they saw a land they could never seem to reach, that vanished on cloudy days just to reappear later. So the literall account of the stars falling from the sky to the earth might have been something twinkling in the sky that came crashing back in to the earth. You know satellites can reflect the suns light. There’s also a whole network of them, ironically name StarLink that are being placed around the earth right now, that will give all of humanity the ability to communicate. What’s the significance of the all the satellites falling from the sky? The all communications would cease. Seems like that might happen at the beginning of something pretty apocalyptic to me. Though that’s only one possible interpretation of what that could mean.
