Dominant Industry Earl Grey Tea!

Most people expect this ink to be a grey. It's right in the name. It's not, though. It's ORANGE. The color of the tea. You wouldn't want to drink grey tea, would you? Nope. I really like Dominant Industry, and I had to get this ink named for my favorite tea and in one of my favorite parts of the color spectrum.

A favorite of my DI Standard offerings. Their Pearl series are amazing. It’s become a favorite brand, but you’re right, pricing is all over the place.

David’s Tea makes really good Earl Grey
The Cream of Earl Grey and Chocolate Earl Grey are really good too
Love the Ink Bottles

I love Dominant Industry inks, too! Too bad so many others do - hard to find a large selection in one store. I have to buy bottles from various vendors. Oh well, means buying lots of other ink to get to the shipping minimums. Thanks for the review!

I tend to brew my earl grey a bit darker than that, but yea, it passes through that color.

I have Dominant Industry's Milky Way Blue. Love it.

I really like GvFC Burned Orange, so I'll have to check out DI's Earl Grey Tea too.

I like the DI inks and I like this colour, but the orange chamber of my heart is still saturated with the Kiwi Quetzalcoatl.

Hi, This is exactly the colour you get when you add a slice of lemon to Earl Grey tea, when you see it served in a glass, in this case an IKEA glass tankard, it's a 'dead ringer'!
My wife's succumbed to the ink, she had previously bought the Diamine x Cult Pens Deep Dark Orange which is very similar, so didn't initially go for the Earl Grey.
Caved because there was a cashback site offer on and she wanted the new Seaweed standard shade, as very pleased with Dom'Ind' Leaf Green after her MontBlanc Irish Green finally ran right down after 10 years. Love the sheer mind boggling choices we have in inks today.
In Feb she bought The Great Wall of China in Diamine, a muted green, another range made for CultPens by Diamine, called Wonders of the World.
Also loves the Dom'Ind' Maple, very colour accurate to a neighbour's mini maple leaves turned a soft red last autumn. All work well on Rhodia ColorR lined pads with ivory paper, a good pairing.
Lots of lovely orangey and greeny tones around now - makes a lovely change!

Please can you put your camera on Manual focus, as the pulsing is incredibly distracting and makes the video difficult to watch. Thanks.
