One thing I love about this series is it feels like you're an archeologist of some kind. Since the original builders aren't there to explain everything, you have to decide what everything does and things like that, giving the reviews a new dimension

i made the 7th realm, whole thing is in legit survival. i got gold using the gold farm which was the contraption you mentioned not understanding, and the walls look suspiciously mined because i’m a perfectionist about it

Hey toycat, Koolniss2737 here. The owner of the realm actually added crafting recipes for the nether reactor core! He added many custom recipies, and that's one of them. ALso yes, I agree birch is the best (i made the tree)

You're completely accurate about my obsession with nature and it's true that a lot of my builds were literally just me building a thing when I had time during breaks at work.

That giant tree farm you didn't understand on realm 3 is amazing ! you plant the saplings on the 4 podsol blocks at the end of the disappearing platform.
They grow and when you cut them down it collects all the wood for you and the platform disappears under the water to make sure none of the items are lost.

I love these reviews, it's fun to see Toycat not understand bunch of mc mechanics. Like the spruce saplings - it was a spruce farm with flowing water so it would collect the saplings and sticks after chopping down trees. Or the levers on furnace - for taking out the items from the furnaces and getting exp without having to break the furnaces.

For realm 7, I believe they recreated the village grounds from Clash of Clans. The buildings look like it, as well as using the moss to texture the field mimic how it looks in COC.

On a separate note, you put a lever on a furnace so that it locks the furnace and the hopper below won’t pull the items out. This allows you to pull an item out and get whatever XP has been saved in the furnace from smelting items. You then turn it back off to operate normally.

I kinda liked the last world. The tower and the nature feel on top of it looks wonderful, and gave me a brilliant idea for a tower look.

His smugness of saying realm 7 is creative makes me cringe. There are a lot of gold blocks because the first farm you saw was a zero tick zombie pigman farm. They make a huge amount of gold. It probably is survival

Pretty sure the first realm had corrupted nbt data since the chests were empty ans the anvil probably was supposed to be a damaged anvil thus belonging in the the D category

I actually like realm 2 the most. I'm a very big fan of technical minecraft; in my view minecraft is a game where the purpose is conquest and colonization. Redstone, farms, nether highways, all that is what I belive makes a good world. A perfect world is a world that has every possible farm, every possible location linked up via a blue ice boat nether highway, redstone powers contraptions. Efficiency comes first, design second.

I think the random piston wall looks like exposed wall of pipes, I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's what they were going for and it's a nice idea .D

18:20- Toycat gives the realm a 1/10, then “upgrades” it from a 0/10 to a 1/10, then upgrades it again to a 2/10 because they said they paid their Toycat tax. It’s almost like the grading scale is completely arbitrary (I also noticed the -3, or possibly-4/10, but no 9/10 or 10/10 ratings 🤔)! 🤣
