CS-40V BF998 Dualgate FET IF module impression (MC1350P replacement)

Instead of obsoleted MC1350P IF amplifier IC, BF998 dual gate FET based module is introduced by CRkits. Replace the MC1350P to the BF998 module, this video shows manual IF gain control and loudness of the radio. Though BF998 gain is roughly 20dB lower than MC1350P, the excessive gain design of original CS-40V/KN-Q7A doe not affected. Gain increase direction of the VR pod is reversed. This is no problem at all. What a fun QSOs using this small transceiver.
