I'm not saying the Mojave Trail is super difficult...
...but it is WAY more fun(and a little harder) than this video makes it look. Due to the remoteness and the roughness a lot can go wrong. Deep sand, imbedded rocks, 5 miles of whoops and washouts along the way can cause problems.
I've done it on bikes, in Jeeps, and now in my Powerwagon. Also a historic route and there is a lot to see along the way if you know where to look.

I mean yeah, the trail was underwhelming...they never said it was some brutal off-road torture test. They just said they drove across an old off-road highway. Some of y’all are really bent out of shape over this.

This was mostly flat with a few hills and a puddle. Hardly off road if you ask me. My Nissan could do this trail if it sat up higher. That puddle would cover my poor sedan tho.

Lockers are a determent to a trail ready vehicle. I'd suggest a segment were an OEM equip electrically actuated locker(s) is driven up a curvy steep loomy or muddy incline, then install in both ends an Eaton Tru-trac or a Torsen model. Both are torque-bias differentials & in most all off-roading scenarios, are a much better choice then a Locker. NOTE: A Locker isn't a differential. There is no rotational slippage or priority given between the inside & outside tires. That would be a good video.
