Kurdish Duduk and Daf - Recorded in northern Iraq, 2004

Показать описание
In 2002-2005 I lived in Iraq while I was working on a documentary film called IRAQ IN FRAGMENTS. I recorded a number of pieces of music while I was there, and only a few of them were used in the final film.
This 2004 recording was made in the home of a Kurdish farmer named Ramazan in a farming and brick-making village called Koretan, in between Erbil and Mosul. I used a DVX100 video camera to record the music onto miniDV tape.
