📚 Description: This is one of the more interesting guitars I've ever been offered. This Gibson Electric guitar was burnt on the set of hit TV Show "Just Shoot Me" by Simon Templeman in a scene with Wendy Malick. It was later given by the Prop Master to her friend to restore the guitar and now I have it. This guitar appeared in Season 7 Episode 3 - Wendy and the Rocker

Shout Out to Simon Templeman for being featured in this episode

This guitar certainly has a cool story behind it and surprisingly plays and sounds quite good too! I hope you enjoyed this story

That's so cool that Simon took the time to record a video explanation

Simon seems like a really cool guy, he's an awesome actor, especially his voice acting.

Lol Trogly, your playing gives you away every time. You can not hide if you like a guitar or not once you start playing. I knew you loved this one. I love it too, thanks for sharing.

I can’t believe how much I enjoy saying “first fret neck depth” along with Trogly at 2:00 in the morning

Cities on Flame with Rock & Roll! Good one! I suspect you had some other fire/burning/flame songs in there.

Who else would give a guitar a colonoscopy? Man, this guy's inspections are getting better by the day. Black light, endoscope, pretty cool.

Speaking of damaging guitars on TV, Disney + has a "how its made" type show called Made In A Day that has an episode innthe Nashville Gibson factory. You can easily see why so many guitars from there have finish damage. Many members of the production line are wearing jewelry while working on the guitars, specifically very loose fitting metal watch bands, belt buckles, and even a very loose metal chain bracelet. You can see this jewelry coming in contact with the guitar finish, even being moved across the finish, in numerous shot during the show. Even if you are careful, you eventually will end up hitting the guitar and cause scratches in the finish or chuncks out of the binding or divits in the tops. And being so fresh, no doubt the finishes are still soft. This is inexcusable for a modern production line. I can't believe they allow ANY loose or metal jewelry to be worn by workers on the line, especially in the final steps after the finish like assembly or inspection. Pretty much no manufacturing company allows jewelry on the line, particularly loose, especially where it can damage product. Such a simple thing, but Gibson doesn't get it.

If i were Simon I would buy this one, what a cool story it would be to own the guitar that first inspired you to play when you set it on fire for a television show

"My heart is black and my lips are cold
Cities on flame with rock and roll
Three thousand guitars, they seem to cry
My ears will melt and then my eyes
Let the girl, let that girl, rock and roll
Cities on flame now with rock and roll" - BOC

The black top and flamed and burst sides and back, remind me of some acoustics where they put crazy flamed, quilted, or hurled wood on the back and sides, but the top is “boring” spruce so it’s either left natural, or finished over in black or stained.

The Lick failed to summon Adam Neely.
