The BMO Harris Pavilion hosted Commodores triumphant return to Milwaukee. This is their performance of "Nightshift", the soulful tribute to Marvin Gaye and Jackie Wilson.

The best song sung by the most talented group in my lifetime. I used to hear this song at work when it first came out with Lionel Ritchie. I'm the same age as JD. What a heart throb so many happy memories

To take the deaths of two of the greatest R & B/soul singers of all time, just a year after they died, and create such a masterpiece that is a tribute played on national TV, was genius and a testament to the Commodores. The only big hit they had post-Lionel Ritchie. It will always be one of the greatest songs, both musically and lyrically, ever written.

I love this group and song. A part of me wants time to freeze when they sang it in the 80's. Pure talent and music back then. You don't hear legends like this anymore. ❤

One of my favourite song since it was nominated for Grammy. I have been listing this song for 30 years around. I like the lyric, voice quality of both singers of commodores .
