Sanding or filing the grip edge isn't really optional.  If you don't do it, the grip will peel up on that edge and rip pretty quick.

Why not put the stickers under the wheels or right infront of the truck baseplate? The stickers are gonna be shredded off with 1 boardslide.

I always use philips because philips screw drivers or just more common so someone is most likely to have one and I just have them laying around my house. Never used alan but I did once to put together my friend's board and I must say it was easier to install and it does rarely get stripped
