how can i do this on a 16:10 display my native res is 2560x1600 (im on laptop) when i use any of these resolutions it looks normal not stretched just lower res help anyone?

When I try to change my res on nvidia once I hid apply once I click yes to change it, it immediately changes back to 2560 by 1440. (I can see the other res for a split second then it changes back)

on some of my resolutions that i make, after i make it even if i Put 144, depending on the resolution it makes it automatically to 120hz instead of 144.
even the 1920 x 1324

whenever i queue into a game like the range or competitive, i don't know why my game's resolution resets to another type of resolution causing black bars on the top and the bottom of my screen, does anyone have this issue and know how i can fix it?
