I never understand why don't you modify the family? The modelling tools are exactly the same. Sure you have to make a bit of "nesting" but that's not so difficult.

Surely will get disappear or will get messed up when we move the window.

If not edit the family atleast make the path as 3D pick path and pick the plane with window not the wall.
