Early AS/400 demo

A quick demo of an IBM AS/400 9402 E4. Just loading some vintage office suite programs.

This is a great demo. How does that model compare to modern AS/400 systems? Are the modern systems still backward compatible with the same programs you're running there?

I got the same exact machine about 2 months ago, except it seems like the 2 terminals i got for it dont work. Is there any other way to do it?

I got my hands on one of these last year - massive machine - took 2 of us to life it. It had everything except the power unit so i cound never switch it on - Are these machines rare now - thanks for sharing
