Lovely filming very interesting watching them bringing in the pollen. I been watching my crocuses coming up yellow ones mainly one purple one up couple days ago I noticed the orange pollen on your bees. Brilliant ☺

Thanks John .. thank you for the video .. Pollen started in Ireland too .. Its been a very mild winter so far though feeding my bees has meant constant monitoring which I enjoy doing on the better days .. thanks for all your work !

Its nice to see that you bees have made it thriugh the winter.
I am suprised that they are collecting pollen so early in the year my club bees are still on cleansing flights and i havnt noticed any pollen yet.
Ill be collecting two new 5 frame nucs mid April so im all exited and look forward to watching your vids again for some extra quality advice.
How did the tree colony fair over winter?

Lovely video, i saw some red pollen going in my hives a week or 2 ago which i think would be snow drops? Anyway im now going to search where i can get that pollen chart from 😊

Howdy fro Texas! Thanks for posting this I love sitting beside my hive an notating their pollen pants as well. I’m wondering you have any resources for my I’ve been keeping a nectar flow chart and notating blossoms as they appear. Our dandelion here is bright yellow as yours is apparently rly red. Do you have experience growing bee bush or tea tree?
