Texas Renaissance Festival | Vlog

Richard and I took a trip to Todd Mission Texas to experience the Texas Renaissance Festival for the first time. It's been on my bucket list since I was 14 and I finally did it! Check out my blog post all about it. Links below.

Excellent video. For those who have not gone to a Renaissance Fair, your video ensures we make a plan to do so. I love the music. Not too much face time, just enough, we most focus on content at the fair. I love your comment, "Why can't this be my life."

My lady and I go several weekends every year and we're usually dressed in elf garb. ✊🏽 keep an eye out for elves dressed in green & brown leathers and armed to the teeth! Perhaps you'll see some fellow elves at the faire this year! 😊

You must be careful because this rarefied environment is quite addictive. Many decades ago I was a saucy wench who frolicked along the lanes with care abandoned, but now I've graduated into royalty and am bedeviled by need for good behavior! Ahh, those carefree days of olde!

I own a booth at the faire, (I did the handmade tiaras and metal top hats next door to the elf ear booth, behind the hawker with the little hand puppet, in case you stopped in) and this video really managed to recapture a lot of the magic that I stopped feeling as much since I'm always trapped in my booth. This was so well-edited and really showed off a lot of the wonder of the faire. Thanks for showing me that patrons still love the faire!!

You would also enjoy Sherwood Forest Faire it's on 290 in between Austin and Houston. Their campground is Amazing!!!

I loved this video. It looked so fun! There's a big renaissance faire in LA that I've been wanting to go to for years, but I've always backed out because I don't know anyone who'd want to go.
Your video convinced me to suck it up and just enjoy myself. So thanks! Hope it's as nice as the Texas one seems to be. 👺
