Is it Possible to Close Missing Molar Spaces with Invisalign or Braces?

Hello, I'm getting a tooth extraction and I'm gonna lose my second molar on my lower quadrant. Is it possible to replace it with my wisdom tooth or move my wisdom tooth into my second molar's location so I won't have to get expensive implants?

I have 4cm overbite and my orthodontist wants to get rid of my 2 molar teeth because they don’t have any roots because they are suppose to be adult teeth but their baby teeth still, he wants to take them out and put braces only on the bottom. Would that be okay?

I've been missing a bottom first molar for 8 years and my teeth have shifted in that time so there's now only 2mm of space on either side of my premolar. My orthodontist said I can use braces to just close the gaps. Do you think this is safe or should I get a second opinion?

hi i have a slight overjet like an overbite and have 2 mandibular pre molars missing and they are 1st pre molar. my lower jaw is definitely behind my upper one and not as developed either. can i get molar protrusion to fill the gap???

I am 18 years old . Can a Second molar be shifted in place of first molar . It is almost 10-11 mm space . I am talking about upper jaw. And I don't have wisdom tooth behind my second molar .

Please respond.I want to get braces for crowded teeth but I dont want to extract my premolars. I have had 2 ist molar extractions already because of their decay in past, one in upper jaw(left) and other in lower jaw(right).Since, their is almost a 10 mm gap above and below Do you think that premolars extraction can be avoided and the already existing gaps can be utilised for alignment of my crowded teeth including a high positioned canine

I've got a question tho, My Upper Central Incisors have a wide gap(almost the length of one of the Central Incisors) can i use Invisalign to correct it rather than Braces bcos i really don't like the look of Braces.

Lost my left lower 1st molar around 8-9 years of age. It's caused my left profile to look recessed the chin isn't as protrusive as the right. I'm currently in braces to close the space but I question if this is the right treatment. would it be better open space for dental implant to make the dental arch symmetrical again? I have a slight overbite and 2nd and 3rd molar on the left erupted in favorable position for space closing . Did 4 ortho consults they all said to close space do you have any advice on this I feel very lost on this.

Before 3 week, I had to remove right side upper 2nd premolar because i can't protect that, now i have a one missing 🦷 gap.i want to cover that space ware the braces 😢so i don't like get any implants or anything because I'm only 23. I'm not overcrowded and my wisdom is coming half.can i get braces 😢??? But my doctor said that "" only overcrowded people can ware the braces is it true 😢😢

I have a query actually I had got my wisdom tooth extracted and my 1st molar is removed so there is gap of 5-6 mm even after braces do it will force me to wear an implant before retainers or I can wear retainers even with this gap…. Please do reply

Very informative, at one point i had Invisalign for a few years but after treatment was done i never kept on with my retainers and long story short teeth are shifting. I'm misssing my upper quadrant molar. What if i wanted to go back to braces but i dont really mind closing the gap but instead just straighten my teeth?? Would it be possible and favorable for me?? Thanks so much!
