Nets of 3D shapes - Functional Skills Maths Level 1

Figuring out the net of a 3D shape is one skill which some learners find difficult. It requires the ability to mentally unfold the object and visualise it laid out unfolded. At functional skills level we only need consider a narrow range of fairly regular objects, and here we take a look at a couple of typical ones, a cube and cuboid.
