I bought a pair of these (in white)last summer for use as rear surround sound in my system. The best feature is all the different way you can mount them to the wall. They match well with my jamo c93 mk II fronts. Everything is crossed over at 100 hz with the bass being handled by my sub. Fantastic speakers and great value. i use the polk owm3 with a martin logan dynamo 300 sub, this is my desktop system....and sounds incredible.the imaging on the polks is outstanding. cristal clear sound as you said

I have a set of these. I used to use them for the Dolby Atmos. Upgraded to "in ceiling" speakers. But these are incredible. I currently use them for the side surround And I use the one size up for the back surround.

I have a pair of polk monitor 45b and they are the test speakers for any new/used amps I bring in the house, also my bedroom daily drivers.

Have these as my current rear channels in my (small) theater room. They are indeed very versatile, sometimes I find myself at an odd location near one of them, and am stunned by their clarity.

Despite your protestations YOU are incredibly good at this. As an aside, if you want to test how good your surround sound system is, play the Blu-ray of "Birdman". A Micheal Keating film that is very strange to watch. BUT the sound stage is exceptionally well managed. The early sequences shows him walking down the stairs in a theatre, passing Steve/Daniel who scrapes along the sidewall and up behind him finishing in the top height speaker. Awesome! There is also a Jazz drummer playing where you can pinpoint every single tap of the drumsticks on the drums or cymbals. It's my go to film if I change anything on my set up. As for the Film, well, you probably will not understand it until you watch the last 20 second or so....

These were my front TV speakers and now are my Atmos speakers, sitting on top of Jamo 803s until they supply S8 ATM in white. I suspect the Polks outperform their intended replacements. Wonderful units, outperformers.

Have a white pair as rear height speakers . You nailed it, they sound just like you said . Great clarity and work well with my B2+ as the fronts . Great little speaker

These OMW3 remind me a bit of the Boston Acoustic Soundware: cheap(aprox. 150€ per pair), multifunctional/"polyeder" enclosure thats easy to Wall-or cornermount (mounting plates are included!).
Not too bad sounding, and in the case of the Soundwares, coincident drivers (4inch iirc) making them perfect for height or surround speaker.
I'm using 4 of them as front and rear heights.
