Wakaba's skate was simply mesmerizing and had me in tears. She was just feeling that music and just floated across the ice, it was so beautiful. I sort of miss the old system sometimes when anybody in the top three after the short program could win the gold medal if they won the free skate. Amber is a great skater too but her unwinding in the free sucked the vacuum out of the evening a little.

Absolutely ridiculous that wakaba’s clean skate got only 1 point higher pcs than amber glenn who had 3 glaring mistakes! Wakaba should have been atleast 70 pcs then.Just shocking proclivity by the ISU towards the American skaters .
