The BEST Electric Truck and it's NOT Close!

I've done LONG road trips in Chevy Silverado EV RST and Tesla Cybertruck. Time for my thoughts on which is actually a better electric truck and I'll share reasons why.

For me....I don't need a truck so I'm not buying either, but if I had to pick between these two....You will see in the video. In case it is not clear.....I was not paid to make this video. it is NOT sponsored or an Ad. Just my thoughts from driving the two trucks.

I've never considered a GMC/Chevy truck, but with that range and bi-directional charging I'm interested.

The Cybertruck is not a pickup truck. It’s just an SUV with a bed. Nothing wrong with that but if you need a truck the Silverado EV is the best on the market. The Lighting is still a great option as well but the range is such a nice bonus on the Silverado.

The reason GM is getting such a good range is the battery size. Same thing they did with the Hummer EV. Silverado is 200+ KW while Cybertruck is 123KW. I mean if we added this size of a battery to Mach-E or Model Y, you'd see over 600 miles of range.

cybertruck also has bi directional charging. The thing with Tesla is the frunk is less secure than the trunk or tailgate because you can open it with a 9 or 12 volt battery if the low voltage battery dies without a key.

The Cybertruck is not all it's cracked up to be, IMO. There are definitely better options. No hate, just my opinion.

Just give me like an old Tacoma or Ranger sized small pickup that is electric with some basic necessities so I can have something to get groceries and the occasional Home Depot run in. I don't want or need one of these giant 100k trucks. Just a small one would be great. But alas, I don't think there's much of a market for them.

Chevrolet truck is beautiful. The black one is gorgeous. That’s a beautiful truck. That’s why they should make them with it like people will buy more gets something like the cyber truck. It looks freaky. It’s not my type I like American. I love the Camaro and warm the battery I think I buy that one.

So the battery size on the cybertruck is 123kw, and the silverado is about 221kw. If its the same battery as the hummer, genuinely it will be a better match up when range extender + comes out for cybertruck

Man I just want one reliable vehicle my jeep is always tearing up on me causing issues. I would be happy with a new Prius or model 3 just so I don’t have to deal with the headaches. Got to admit the Chevy is pretty awesome…
