There is a hidden feature for the Falcon. If you repeatedly hit the lights peed button a few times, it will make the hyperdrive malfunction noise.

i adore these because they work in scale with eachother better than anything else, the figurines are just a scale point of reference, and will stay in the cockpit

I always had an affinity for the Star Wars Micro Machines toys. That was my Micro Collection. My parents couldn’t afford the POTF2 Falcon, so the Millennium Falcon playset was _my_ childhood Millennium Falcon. Still have it to this day.

Also for a kid, a sturdy display stand would have been a good way to hold the ship while you're flying them around the house.

I’m one of those micro machine diehards. Loved those sets in 90s. Had a general spreadsheet in my head of all the kids that had them so I could buy the unwanted minis later when they fell out. Massive bedroom battles. Hoth….is a true connoisseur’s planet.

I actually have the Asajj Ventruss ship from this line and it comes with a display base. I kinda wish all the ships did. The Hot Wheels Star Ships line which is far cheaper actually comes with display bases for all the vehicles in that. So there's kinda no excuse for Jazwares to not at least have included a display base for, if not all, at least most of the ships in the line.

For those of us who don't live in big American houses, (often with basements), micro collectibles are a great and very practical thing 😁

I recently got a second hand Yavin 4 Action Fleet playset, just epic. I love the damn thing.

In my opinion, Star Wars and Star Wars merch was at its best in the 90s when, ironically, we hadn't had a new film for over a decade.

Really love this line. Definitely wish there was a display stand for them though. I Also wish that they would make a star destroyer but I don’t know how big it would be and how much it would cost.

I personally preferred smaller figures like army men and lego minifigures, but I think that comes down to fundamentally different styles of play. My play style focused far more on building and composing scenes that represented locations I was imagining, rather than dynamically moving figures around as part of a specific scenario. The smaller figures allowed me to depict larger-scale scenes in the same amount of space (for example, a full city rather than just one building). With the larger, standard-sized figures, there was always an upper limit to the scale of what I could depict.

Did you forget the Kenner/Palitoy die cast vehicles from the late 70s?

I don’t know Michael, I think the inclusion of figures is really awesome. Although I agree with the frustrations about seating them correctly or the constant rattling, the inclusion of figures is a nice option to have when playing with these. You can look inside the cockpits and see a little Luke Skywalker or Han Solo flying, which is pretty cool in my opinion. Otherwise, you could just buy smaller scale models if you really don’t care about the figures; but i really think that’s the whole point about Jazwares Micro Squadrons. The figures are the pièce of résistance.

Collectors with a little bit of building skills could in fact make their own display stands for these vehicles. Honestly it is something I'm thinking about doing.

I will defend this line to the very end as I love toys of Star Wars vehicles, and the fact these are for the most part to scale is a major selling point. And let’s not forget all the different ships available right now and coming soon. There’s ships from literally every era available from Republic gunships, x wings, to tie fighters, and several versions of the millennium falcon oddly enough, I have 2 myself. Listening to the guys who make this line talk about their passion and that they do listen to what vehicles the fans want or what features they want is true dedication right there. Plus the paint on the figures is getting better every wave. And the fact that the preorders for upcoming ships sell out fast shows there’s plenty of life to this line

As a builder of 1/72 Bandai Star Wars Model Kits, I welcome this series. Really goes well with what I own already.

Really fun to watch this, I loved micro machines, these remind me of them. Great video! Always excited to see what's up next!

I had ignored these until they had nearly gone, I just picked up all the OT ships I wanted for about 70% off.. absolutely agree the display stand would make this much better.

My only foray is I bought two of the scout class blind box figures. I got two that I wanted, Darth Maul and his speeder and Mandalorian and his speeder bike. THey COME with display stands. They're cute too. But I can't believe I spent $7.50 on something that feels like a 50 cent toy from 1995.
