Thanks for pointing out that Billie album is an isolated vocals version of HMHAS, I totally overlooked it as another variant of the album but am now considering getting it because of how much I enjoy her vocals 🤘🤘

Better Than Ezra - beyond excited for this. Unfortunately it doesn’t appear to be on the Australian Black Friday RSD list so might need to pay overs and import from America. But totally the pick for me.

I should mention they are reissuing a small footnote to record collecting history. The scene in High Fidelity where Jack Black is taking the customer around the store giving him albums to buy, the customer was looking for the Killing Moon EP by Echo and the Bunnyman and Jack’s character goes off about how people who got rid of their vinyl collections can’t own this anymore. This scene and the records talked about meant a lot to me as I was just starting to collect. I went to Amoeba the next day and found that EP. It’s still in my collection and this is the first time it’s been reissued.

Even though I have that Scarlett Johansen record I'm excited for it to be accessible! I'm also pretty excited for the hit me hard and soft isolated tracks.

I find that RSD Black Friday's lists never really appeal to me, and this one is no exception. There are some decent releases on this list, but nothing that is making me want to stand in line shortly after Thanksgiving.

I am fortunate enough to already own, the Better Than Ezra deluxe album, but if I did not, that would be the only must have on the list

I don’t own a shop but I’ve been working in them since 1979.

A fairly lackluster list. I find several of the titles to be unnecessary and others to be totally out of touch with what people want. I agree with your comment about some releases being “insulting”. Having said that, Helmet / Betty might be of personal interest.

Majority of the list is RSD first which just means that these albums will be released at a later date, not worth the hassle & over inflated prices. Now of course I will still go because it's a fun day & of course I will purchase something.😁

Excited about the BTE, but that’s about it. I miss the first time on vinyl releases of 80s and 90s soundtracks that we used to get every RSD about 5 years ago. I used to skip to the Various Artist section to see stuff like I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Facility and Cable Guy soundtracks. Not seeing that anymore =/
