My son died today around 1 o'clock midnight, I can't stand to see him inside that little casket, he's a brave warrior and a survivor, despite of his case in his health he managed to put a smile on his face and laugh without hinder, in just 9 months he lived with so joy with his family loving him. My fiance died the day we got engaged he used to always tell me Godspeed literally for the 10 years I've known him. After arguments, uplifting me, when I thought I was failing, when life was constantly coming at me full speed, when I looked down where I came from, &, etc I will always hear him say “Godspeed”. He also used to tell me he would always love me and protect me in this life, next life, etc. I played this song for 3 years every day after his death and it helped me heal especially when he said “ I let go of my claim on you, it's a free world”. That was the part that helped me let go and let him find peace. He always spiritually checks on me.

this is song is easily one of my favorites off this album. Frank manages to put this sort of quiet acceptance and nostalgia into this sound, that you can't find easily. Like saying goodbye to someone you've known for a long time, but neither of you are sad or regretful about it. You just know you gotta go, and who knows? you might find each other again someday

Just had a mutual breakup with who I feel is the love of my life. This song was the first thing on my mind. We both agreed that if we find our way back to each other then it was meant to be. It hurts but I’m learning acceptance.

Had to bury a friend today and this was the song playing as we walked him out of the chapel. As sad a day this was, I can't thank creators like Frank enough for songs like this, they somehow create special, bitter sweet moments out of what would otherwise be a nightmare.

It was the perfect song for the moment and although extremely sad, in that moment myself and other family and friends alike were able to come together to morn, and find some resemblance of peace in our collective grief.

On a personal note it allowed a guy who likes to hide his emotions on the best of days the much needed chance to grieve and although i felt weak at the time, i can appreciate how much i needed to just let it all out with the support and love amongst my family and friends.

It's wild how much of a difference music can make and I hope if anyone's in a similar boat things start looking up.
