My parents have a Peugeot pepper grinder that is from the 50's and it works like new, these things are indestructible

For those looking for a great pepper grinder, keep an eye out for estate sales. I see quite a few made in Italy or Spain examples, really nice wood. Just requires a good cleaning.

I have the foil/cling wrap dispenser... and Yes, it's been annoying that it falls back in and I practically have to take it apart to pull it back out. I'm gonna have to get some magnets

No one’s talking about the foil and Saran wrap cutter. If you have enough drawers, it looks amazing. Imagine never having a bed tear or stretch when using it.

That whirly pop is the best popcorn maker I've ever had. I had an old model with plastic gears. Bad idea. Get the one with metal gears, and have a great appliance for life

You’re absolutely right about a pepper grinder. I couldn’t find a hood one (even after buying Le Creuset). I found one made in Italy which I’ve had for 20 years and still going strong!!

One of the few list like these that I agree with. The garlic press is a must, but everything else isn't necessary but would be helpful.
