I did that With mango seed 30 years ago. I was experimenting and now there's a massive mango tree in my back garden. It's beautiful.

Mmmhh being a gardener myself I can tell you that a lot of these hacks don't work in the northern hemisphere. But also, many (not all) supermarket fruit and veg seeds don't sprout. Tried the Pepper, won't work. It works with potatoes and butternut squash (my compost has a story to tell) but I am a bit doubtful about smaller types of seeds.

I've grown peach, apple, oaks, hickories, pecans, pawpaw's, bald cypress, sycamore, several maple species, river birch, willow and cottonwood from seeds. It's addictive! I have given away nearly all of them to friends and they have been used to plant acres of land.

I tried the first one, and can I just appreciate how satisfying it was just to open the mango? It was nice!...
But then someone thought it was trash and threw it away 🤣

If you're not into growing full pumpkins, you can still plant the seeds and eat the early sprouted leaves as though it's spinach. Just make sure you get to it before it starts getting little hair-like pokeys on the stem and leaves. Texture and taste plummets at that point.

These are outstanding ideas!! I always wondered how much we could grow from our produce at hone but organic is probably the best way to grow from since it hasn’t been irradiated nor used root inhibitor on them.
Great ideas!👍🏼

Hi hi! So my mom grows food (herbs, veggies and techically-fruits the most) and I sent her this video and she LAUGHED while saying that most of the growing/fertilizer hacks in this video are complete bs. So just be weary... try to grow stuff the normal way unless the lifehacks aren’t from these “lifehack” channels. Growing food is actually really fun. I once grew a zucchini bigger than ones you find at the store

My three random gardening tips: Peas are best started in your garden (transplanting peas leads to them dying 99% of the time), garlic does best in sandy soil when you first plant them (just mix sand with soil), and you should only water aloe when the soil is completely dry (sometimes the pot will say that you never need to water it, there are different types of aloe).

Having a small garden shouldn't stop you from being a great gardener! In fact, with a little creativity, you can turn your small space into a veritable oasis. Thanks for the Tips.

Thank you. Very good video!. I had never seen so many good ideas together. It is to encourage everyone to grow plants that we usually buy, but never used the precious seeds. Also, the potato containers!
