As a coach I completely agree with this. However the vandal is better for habits and therefore I say to use the vandal until you have mastered it then use the phantom.

All I gotta say is that range and precise gunplay is what matters and the phantom and vandal apply for different maps and situations

The vandal's first shot accuracy isnt horrible. Its slightly worse than the phantom. In theory, the vandal is 100% better than the phantom. In practice, however, they prefrom about equally.
