E-flite Habu SS 70mm EDF Jet BNF Basic - Super Fun Sport Jet

Hi guys, even though it the weather is cold and breezy the new E-flite Habu SS is a whole lot of fun to fly. For such a basic and uncomplicated EDF it flies so smooth and precise that one could believe it to be a much more complex model. The colors are very visible even against a cloudy sky which helps you keep orientation easily. I’m getting about 3:45 on a 6s 3200 Spektrum Smart lipo but then again I’ll never be accused of sparing the throttle. Just a fun all around EDF that everyone should consider having in their hangar. I had been looking for a simple flight video like this, no music, not vloggy, but straight to the point. Great demonstration of what this bird can do because I recently bought a habu ss, and I'm excited to give it its maiden flight, hopefully soon. Nice flying!

What a great flying spot. Thanks for cutting out the parts where it’s hard to see the jet. I use to have the STS but regret selling it, I love how it flies, less stress and more fun. Gonna pick up the SS next season. Would be awesome to have the Habu in a 90mm like the viper.

Nothing short of amazing flying Mike, I really enjoy your video's! I'm considering this one as my 2nd attempt at flying a Jet as the F15 I had was too small for me to see and this one has more of a pronounced wingspan I can see. From what I've seen and from flying it in Realflight it looks really stabile and easy and can be flown at slower speeds as well (until I'm use to it). If you have a P51D 1.2, 1.5, or the Carbon Z trojan that would be my next video request! :)

awesome plane, I love mine, I fly it more then my other planes now... hard to believe a 3D guy would ever enjoy a EDF so much. I fly with 4000 mah 6s for 7 minute flights.

The new version of the Habu flies a lot faster that the older version that I have. The new version will be the replacement for the old one I have, but I'm not going to prang it in to hasten buying the new version though. The Habu's are great flyers.

Michael, smooth as silk, as always. Would you suggest a EDF like this Habu 70mm before going into something like a EF Viper 90mm or EF F-16 70/80mm? Also, I see you have thrust reverse at 2:50. Does this 70-Amp 3S/6S ESC w/Telemetry (SPMXAE70A) have reverse thrust similar to the Avian Lite 70-Amp ESC T-28 Trojan 1.2m with reverse thrust?
