I saw her live in Austin Texas in a beautiful setting. She was Divine. Her rendition of "Send In the Clowns" man, it moved the rafters. I felt her low notes vibrate my ribs and fill my heart. I treasure that memory. I was lucky enough to see Ella and Carmen McRae live as well...hence my extensive collection of jazz singer CDs.
