Asia-Pacific Stats Cafe series: 50 years of Statistical Capacity-building by UN Statistical Institute for Asia and the Pacific (SIAP): Perspectives from Alumni Chief Statisticians, 24 August 2020

This special webinar is organized in the context of the 7th session of the Committee of Statistics to commemorate the golden jubilee of the Institute, alumnus of the Institute will share their journey from entry in the national statistical systems to becoming Chief Statistician in their country; how SIAP has helped them in serving their organization and the country better and how this has helped in achieving their career goal; and how UNSIAP can help national statistical systems to meet the challenge of deluge of data demand and the restriction being experienced in the statistical activities due to COVID-19.
