Welcome back to Noirvember, folks. For this week's installment, we're taking a look back at Robert Aldritch's 1955 classic Kiss Me Deadly, starring Ralph Meeker as Mickey Spillane's iconic PI Mike Hammer, as well as Cloris Leachman, Maxine Cooper, Albert Dekker and Paul Stewart.

This is the newest, relatively speaking, film we'll be discussing with the series this month, as it was released further from the height of the genre's heyday, but it's such a unique and memorable viewing experience that there was no way it wasn't going to get included here. An electric, messy, experimental and affecting film noir, Kiss Me Deadly is a movie that must be seen at all costs.

Let's dig in.
