Inspired by Iceland - Secret Tour of Iceland

In February 2014, Inspired by Iceland launched a global search for the ‘World’s Most Intrepid Tourist’. The unique opportunity brought one winner, Jennifer Asmundson, and her friend Corina, on the Secret Tour of Iceland, a magical 7-day tour that saw them travel across the country, uncovering its best kept, most colourful and often surprising secrets as they went.

The itinerary was curated by Iceland’s 100,000 strong army of Facebook fans, who shared their Iceland secrets to make the ultimate trip for Jennifer and Corina.

If you ever hold that contest again, I'm willing to offer myself as an intrepid traveler!  Six months in Europe alone by bike and other solo bike tours and parts of Asia solo, including Nepal and Thailand.  Iceland would be a fantastic trip, I'd especially love to see the aurora over snowy mountains.

3 months ago I watched this video... and the plotting began! December 2014, I packed up and flew out of sunny and warm South Africa, and headed off to Iceland... on my own. What an amazing country!!! Loved every minute of it... such friendly and warm people! I'm going back!!
