I was 9 years old and I remember : want wanted to demolish the Church of the Archangel Michael. My friend and I went on training in acrobatics (to eagle the strongest school of acrobatics, Oryol acrobats - always Champions). And women living near the Church, stood a human chain around the Church and the excavator could not go . They have not given her to demolish. In the 90-ies began the restoration of the Church of Michael the Archangel and returned it to its original form.

Hi, I'm from Oryol. Thank you for the video, man! Gotta put something right: what you called 'The City Administration Building' at 2:32 is NOT the City Administration Building. It is the Region (Oblast) Administration Building. The City Administration Building is a different one located not quite so far away from the Region Administration Building. Thanks for the nice vid again, man!
