one thing I use for project management on fursuits? Trello! you can break down your tasks and make a checklist so you can check things off and organize them as you finish them. really satisfying, and really visual for showing your progress!

during the time I made my first fur suit. When I saw a gap in-between pieces of foam, I just filled it in with hot glue since it was more convenient. Don't do this since the foam base will be hard in certain places. I don't know if other people experienced this though.

Also our eyes tend to correct small flaws in things like things being crooked, taking pictures with a camera helps you see whats wrong.

Here's a tip- Don't use a clipper for humans! Pet shavers are so much easier and quicker on fur! No, it doesn't matter that it;s faux fur and not real fur, it makes all the difference!

you should go for mechanical fursuit making!

whatever its cables or servos, making a fursuit that changes expression would be neat!

I am legit thinking of making a mechanical fursuit as I find the fursuits with one expression to look scary. because they look like they died while having that one expression!

so I hope to make a mechanical fursuits one day!

Budget tip: old sewing machines are BEASTS, as a Brazilian, heavy duty machines cost around 2 to 3k, while my Singer 247 was 600!
And last time I used it, it took 8 layers of faux fur like it was NOTHING, and they say it can take many layers of leather and jeans(still yet to test!!)

I made 2 furheads with papermache already and started making third one! I love experimenting with diferent art styles and techniques + looking for ways to make suit cheaper and faster without losing much quality. Like that the second suit (head, tail, wings) was made just in 10 days! I used felt instead of fur to see if it works, and it gave very nice grafic look to it. The next head i want to try with fleece, since its cheaper than fur as well as felt and has similar graphic vibe I'm looking for
