Then Bungie comes and reveals that it was the HIVE who are getting new Sub Classes.

this is the twist: the traveler legitimately gave a wormless savathûn the light, as well as her brood. the twist is that we’re literally murdering lightbearers who would otherwise aid us against the darkness. this is probably intentional on savathun’s part; she wants to illustrate we’re no better than the darkness and is using this kind of convoluted way to get us to let her work with us. the end raid is a pyramid in her throne world where we’ll kill invaded scorn/hive from xivu arath, and we’ll kill something darkness related as a first ally ship with savathun.
bungie is trying so hard to get us to believe she’s super evil, the big twist is that she’s not. the traveler will give her the light unironically, because we need everyone we can get to fight the voice in the darkness (skira?)
