What I love so much about this show - the writing! - is that the song he’s singing is a staple in the Midwest and south, but it’s also a song that validates Titus. He’s a “free bird” too - living his life on his terms and not pretending to be someone he isn’t. So good!

it's always funny when you notice the band doesn't know the song because of the impotent fills. one of the late show bands did war pigs and between the riffs there's fills which can either be copied or altered, but stopping to think about them is a problem
