The phase two Fox is way more iconic. I’m going to wait to get that one. It’ll happen eventually

For Fox I actually prefer the P1 design by a lot, so I’m glad they did this version. However I can see why people think it’s a weird decision with the Coruscant troopers only being available as a P2 version.

I picked mine up on pre-order, as I'm absolutely obsessed with clones. However, even as a clone trooper fanatic and while appreciating the skill and craftsmanship of the hot toys clones, it’s so hard to ignore the phase mixing. Phase 2 does not belong with phase one (the only exception being when the ARC troopers were testing version 1.5). I will also agree with the inconsistency of the product shelf. I will be displaying mine with the AOTC P1 as there is no alternative. I believe to lead the CG we’ll get commander thorn. Hoping to the likes of Wolffe, Bacara, Gree and Bly from hot toys! It looks like there was at least 2 episodes where the antenna was white. It was the episode where Cad Bane uses the senators has hostages and when Fox direct the maintenance
droids to the power generator on Coruscant. The episode where they captured Zero the Hut, the antenna was black.

Seeing Phase 1 Fox in the realistic style instead of the animated style is definitely interesting imo. But still a cool figure and cant wait to see what theyll do with phase 2 Fox!

The names of the DC-15 blasters changed when Disney took over and separated it into cannon and legends. In legends, the shorter carbine was referred to as the DC15s (standing for short) as well as the DC-15c (standing for carbine), and the full rifle was the DC-15a. Now in canon, the short carbine is the DC-15a, while the full length blaster rifle is called also called a DC-15a, although more often just a DC-15. It’s all super messy and convoluted, the simplest way to differentiate is just to use the length: the short one is the DC-15 blaster carbine and the long one is the DC-15 blaster rifle.

I learned my lesson with echo’s hand when i tried to put the blaster i made like a chip inside his hand so now every figure i get i heat the hand with an hair dryer it really helps

Phase one paired with phase two makes zero sense, unless we’re talking phase one troopers paired with phase 2 arc troopers. Disappointed that Hot toys misses so many details.

I just ordered this figure and I saw a post on Instagram of a scene from Fox on his phase 1 armor and indeed he does have a white antenna… I searched on YouTube “all commander fox scenes” on his first appearance he has a black antenna, afterwards it’s really clear he does have a white antenna so seems Hot Toys got it right, even though we all thought it was incorrect, but clone wars says otherwise, excelente review as always

I love phase 1 helmets over phase two. Nothing beats origin to figure. I change all my helmets on Battalion troopers to phase one helmets....On one shelve and other with the 332nd Ahsoka them on another

Epic figure review! Fox just with his look has always done for me what Boba did for people who saw Empire strikes back and raved about how cool he was. That said I'm happy with this release!

The helmet fox used in the show was the same model as Cody, so they already have that

The sideshow commander fox I think would look well in a clone wars animated display and the hot toys version would work well in a live action display

Hi Justin! You're always right about the Hot Toys imperfections, of every Figures you reviewed in Past and Present. "Commmando Fox" considered a Masterpiece. The Paying Attention to Detailing and Designed, though not Accurately Perfect, made it interesting and almost Mind Blowing to the Eyes. That's the very reason why, you bought it. It's worth it my Friend. It definitely adds nicely, with the rest of Star Wars Collection. I'd enjoyed the Video. I'm also looking forward to watch more of your Future, Cool Videos. After Hearing the Negative Side, I'm sure Hot Toys will listen to their Customers someday and give it their all. Great Amazing Toy Reviewing as always. 🤩🤩🤩👍👍

I’ve got this guy on his way to my house as we speak. I’m definitely quite excited, as a new clone is always a good time (especially a commander.)

The figure itself in a void is incredible imo, but I 100% agree with many others on their frustrations with certain decisions hot toys makes. At times their exclusion of certain accessories, blatant inaccuracies that could be fixed with the same level of effort, and other creative choices is nothing short of confusing at times. On top of that, I don’t know if it’s better or worse when it’s clearly intentional (we all know why we didn’t get phase 2 swap out pieces.)

Aside from all that, it doesn’t make me any less excited to get him in hand. It’s just a bummer when something that is otherwise definitive piece is missing just a few things. It would be nice for HT to fill that role, rather than customs parts or figures to be needed.

He does have a white antenna in some scenes. At the end of hostage crisis in season 1 it is white, so you'll be happy to know that it is accurate.

Phase one Fox did have a white aerial and that style of armour paint, his phase 2 helmet had the black aerial, but completely different armour markings.
