The Wasted WWE Career of Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner was one of the best things about the last days of WCW where he was finally elevated to main event status, lifting the World Championship as a heel. When WWE hired Steiner in 2002 it was hoped that he would be a new main event superstar for years to come. Unfortunately he would quickly run into Triple H during his reign of terror. Thank goodness WWE is treating Bron Breakker with more respect!

I seen interviews where it was said Steiner was legit feared by many wrestlers.

I believe he was suffering from a health condition at the time he came back in the 2000s. That’s why his match with Paul was so bad.

Steiner said in that interview not too long ago that his foot was a mess and could hardly put weight on it. He wasn't proud of that run either hence why he went to TNA in mid 2000's.

A combination of Triple H's Reign Of Terror & Injuries were really the key elements of Steiner's failed WWE tenure.

Steiner's WWE main event roster push was derailed after both his matches vs Triple H were bad. He is still in a legend in WCW and TNA.

That backflip slam is probably 1 of the most impressive and most dangerous moves I've ever seen. Never seen anyone else do it or even attempt. He's was built different

Besides reliving the war this is arguably one of my favorite wrestling series on youtube to watch

Scott is proof God has a sense of humor. In the 80s and 90s he was a god in the ring but not that good on the mic. By the late 90s/early 2000s he was a god on the mic but his in-ring suffered as the trade off. Imagine this. Combine early 90s in ring Scott with late 90s Promo Scott and you'd have the perfect pro wrestler.

Barely anyone was going to be champion in WCW with Hogan pulling backstage politics. And then there was Triple H and his reign of terror. Triple H pretty much buried everyone from WCW

Before Papa H, there was Shovel H (HHH) whom wrecked multiple Careers in the WWE. 🕳

Since Big Poppa Pump always had his freaks, I wonder if they had freak offs & how they compared to Diddys 🤔

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble but by the time steiner hit wwe after wcw closed his best years were gone and he was nowhere as athletic as he used to be and he was gassed out pretty easy .his beautiful wrestling skills he had in his prime just wasn't there anymore and as much as people hated triple h and the reign of terror at the time, triple h was a far better wrestler than steiner .

He had drop foot... making it impossible for him to have a passable match. Steiner himself asked for shorter matches.

Triple H killing off draws left and right because the head of creative, his wife said so.

Booking someone in a main event program with peak Reign of Terror HHH was the perfect way to diminish a wrestler's stock.

People still blame HHH for shit that happened over 2 decades ago, like Vince didn't have the final say on everything.
Yet, Roman's reign of terror lasted 4 years with nearly every match being a bullshit finish, yet everyone loves him.
Wasn't it Jerry Lawler that famously said, "Fans are fickle?" He was pretty on point with that.
😂

Drop foot syndrome combined with terrible booking made for a pointless run for Steiner in WWE.

WWE definitely buried him and screwed up his career. It was a mess from his 2002 run to his 2004 departure.
