Such a good momma hesitated to check on others. I had a momma raccoon come to live in my shed . She had three babies.i fed her all winter and let her stay. I asked her not to poop in shed. And she didn't. It was all good. It is their world too. Live and let live.

I love people like this...not only the rescuers, but the homeowner who was willing to pay to have that hole cut into her ceiling and the added expense. Kudos to all involved including Mama!

The fathers are quite loving to thier families too. I have apple trees and I saw one of the cutest things Ive ever seen to do with them. I was looking out my window and a father racoon climed the tree while the mother and babies sat looking up at him, and he started throwing them down apples just like a baseball pitcher. It was great to watch. So human.

Poor mama raccoon, how confused and frightened she must have been. Thank you for kindly moving these animals back to their native habitat. To the wildlife we owe a simple respect.

Damn wish my mother had the sense to come back for me like the mother raccoon did for her babies. Happy Mother's Day to the real mothers.

Wow you Canadians are brave. Not only did you avoid a violent confrontation with a mother raccoon, you went to great heights to give the mother easier access to her babies. Great work 👍

This worked out so well. Such a good Momma, and the wildlife control guy and his helper was so great how they handled this. No pressure or harm to the animals. Job well done!

Racoons are extremely smart. I have been a ranch manager for 15 years and those little critters can almost figure out how to pick a lock!

Mother raccoon to friend: Don’t ask me how my day was. I got evicted w/o 30-day notice. Do you realize how hard it is relocating 4 kids? Luckily I found a nice place 3 houses away.

👍I’m sorry for the inconvenience to the homeowner, but we have to admit that momma raccoon chose a fine house to have her babies.👍😂💝

That was absolutely wonderful to watch. Poor mum didn’t have any time to find a new home. What a fantastic mum she is.

I love this! Why can't everybody be this compassionate and caring with animals?? They have to live, too...

For all of the years that I’ve been a Wildlife rehabber, raccoons are one of the best mommas out there♥️

It's very reassuring how times and attitudes have changed through the years. I'm in my 70s and when I was young, a raccoon with babies inside a roof may very well not have ended so well. I remember similar situations in my old city neighborhood where raccoons were looked upon as vermin and, if possible, the mother and the babies would have been killed. What do you know, there are some aspects of humanity that have improved over the years! Kudos to the trappers and even the homeowner who allowed a happy ending to this story.
