External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar schooled a Western journalist at the ‘Discussion at Council on Foreign Relations in New York on September 26, While the question over India’s Democracy Index to which EAM staunchly replied that if he would be objective enough to understand it.

I have been saying this for years and this is very true. Most academic and then global organizations which give out ranking indexes are infiltrated by leftist ideologues. Hence when a developing country has a left wing govt often these organizations rank them on various indexes stand still or improve them very marginally but the moment a conservative govt comes to power in a developing country they suddenly rank them worse and even question such democratic backsliding nonsense. If India was democratic backsliding then i can assure you ppl wouldnt be openly making statements on Eradication of Sanatan Dharma. Had the ruling govt said this about a minority the global left would be up in arms about this but since its being said against Sanatan Dharma its fine. And rule of law works perfectly fine cae RaGas conviction, he was given the opportunity by High Court to apologize and move on, only when he rejected this then he was convicted but still Supreme Court stayed his conviction. Again these instances prove how delusional global left is. Last year i heard about Hunger Index ranking and in that India was virtually ranked behind every neighboring country including Pakistan. Pakistan was experiencing the worst food crisis in decades but somehow this European organization found India did worse than all countries in Soutb Asia. Irony here was India was the one who provided wheat to these countries except Pakistan including Afghanistan. So i stopped paying attention to these ranking indexes a long time ago. This is a tool used by the global left to bully/intimidate developing countries that we can manufacture/Engineer unreliable rankings to put pressure on that particular country. Honestly i remember during Congress rule it was much worse but somehow they always had favorable rankings even though on the ground it was obvious the conditions were much worse contradicting the ranking given under Congress. This is how West works they use all available means to subjugate you.
